After graduating from Sophia University, Shinichiro worked at an art bookstore in Tokyo before moving to England in 2013. He completed a postgraduate course MA Culture, Diaspora, Ethnicity, at Birkbeck, University of London. While in the U.K., he started getting involved in many publications, exhibitions, L10Ns, film productions, and art projects as a freelance translator and coordinator with expertise in art, fashion, photography, and cultural and social theories. In 2021, Shinichiro joined INFAS Publications, where he mainly works as a translator for TOKION.
