Born in 1969. Writer and editor. Former chief editor of Kowloon. Kazushi Shimada was involved in establishing Shogakukan’s Mangakahon series. He is the author/co-author of Mangaka, Eiga wo Kataru, Manga no Genzaichi!, Waru no Mangajutsu, and so on. His latest publication is Corona to Manga〜7ninn no Mangaka ga Kataru Pandemic to Sousaku, a compilation of interviews with the likes of Tetsuya Chiba and Takao Saito.
