Editor and writer. He started skateboarding at the age of 13. Longing for American culture, he moved to the United States at the age of 21 and worked as a coordinator for magazines and advertisements in Los Angeles. After returning to Japan, he has contributed for a number of culture and fashion magazines as an editor and writer. He is also involved in advertising production in Japan and abroad, as well as introducing American skaters and artists to Japan and organizing movie screenings and photo exhibitions. His books include New New Thailand that introduces the evolving Thai culture from a new perspective, and A WAY OF LIFE, a collection of interviews with American skaters and artists.
